Thanksgiving Day!

On Thanksgiving day we went to Point Lobos for a hike before the feast.

It was a beautiful morning...the waves were amazing.

5 Months Old

Lucas has grown so much in the last couple of weeks. He is smiling a LOT and loves sticking out his tongue (don't know why, but he likes it). He is sitting up and just in the last couple of days we can see that he is working on his crawling skills.

New Tricks: Rolling Over and Sucking on Big Toe!

He loves sucking on his big toe. This is everytime he is on the changing table. I love it!!!!

Lucas is rolling over. He started doing it about a week ago, but only once a day or everyother day and with our assistance by having him look at us so he could arch his back thus making him roll over (didn't always work) . BUT today... I placed him down on his belly on the ground so I could go wash my hands and get his banana and when I came back he had rolled over all on his own. Now, he is doing it over and over without our help. He also tried banana today for the first time and he seems to like it. Enjoys making raspberries!!!!

Doctor's Visit!!

Today we went for his 4th month check-up. Dr. Penn said that he is doing very well and that he is at the top of the growth chart on his weight and height. He now weights 14 lbs 11 oz and is 24 1/2 inches tall. He was smiling and talking the entire time even after the doctor gave him a shot on his behind. He is a funny little guy!!!

4 months!!!

Lucas is a lot of fun. He has found his feet, good hand coordination, laughing, staring at everything and just in the last couple of days he is trying to yell.
